Most of the steps for setting up your phone are the same as setting up your desktop computer, but there are some important differences. Most people like to use their phone to get email while they are on the road. When they get back to the office, they want to see the messages on the their computer also. If you would like this same setup, follow these steps:
1.) Open up the email account settings for your phone. All phones are different so the steps will vary. If you can't find it, call your cellular phone provider or stop by one of their authorized retailers for help.
2.) Enter the following information into the appropriate fields (will vary by phone)
Incoming Server Name or POP3
mail.yourdomain.com
Username
Your full email address
Password
Your password
Server Type
POP3
E-mail Address
Your complete e-mail address
SMTP or Outgoing Server
mail.yourdomain.com
Advanced/More Settings
Make sure that SSL and encryption are turned off for both your incoming and outgoing server. If you want to keep the messages on your desktop computer make sure you choose the setting to leave a copy of the message on the server.
